BACKEND DEVELOPER
Magento developers are in charge of developing, maintaining, and improving their clients’ eCommerce websites. Their responsibility is huge, as most of the time, Magento websites generate a lot of revenue. While Magento was developed using the PHP language, the size and complexity of this framework goes way beyond simple PHP knowledge. A whole new paradigm and new logic have to be learned. Magento contains powerful eCommerce functionalities that need to be learned and mastered by Magento developers.
Our company is looking for a talented Magento 2 developer that will be in charge of maintaining our eCommerce website. Your main tasks will be to ensure that the last security patches are installed and that existing functionality continues to work properly. You will also be in charge of developing new modules and applying any required front-end changes.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies & platforms such as JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS3
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- User authentication & authorization between multiple systems, servers & environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies & platforms such as JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS3

- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Design and implementation of data storage solutions
- Regularly update our Magento installation
